Allergy update
Lolo is suffering from horrible spring allergies. We finally took her into the pediatrician - just to make sure it wasn't something else. Stat update: 49.25 inches and 54 lbs. 90th percentile for height and 75th for weight. Pediatrician asked Lolo when she thought she'd be taller than me. Jim thinks Lolo will outgrow me when she is 8. Thank goodness we have Norah....my little 3rd percentile peanut. She won't outgrow me for a while.

Back from the Wisconsin Dells
We're back from a waterpark weekend. Whew. The girls had an unbelieveable time. When they saw me pull out the wetsuits on saturday morning, they were giddy. Then they saw the waterpark. Woo hoo. Lolo just barely made the 48" height requirement. She was able to ride "The Hurricane"....and soon declared it to be her "favorite" slide. Jim and I were both surprised that we could take Norah on almost all the other rides....Norah loved the giant raft rides especially, the "Dueling Mammouth". We're raising a couple of daredevil adreneline junkies. No pictures from the water park. Didn't have a place to keep my camera...after all, mom and dad wanted to play too :-)

The Dells
We're heading out to the Dells, Wisconsin this weekend. Think of it as Las Vegas for kids. Indoor waterparks. The best part is that our kids have no idea what the Dells are about yet. Can't wait to see their faces when they figure out what we're going to do all weekend.

Weekend update
Norah attended her very first fellow preschooler birthday party (non-family/close friend). She was tickled that I stayed with her while she painted. It was a painting party at an art store. And our Norah had a spectacular creation. Norah and I decided that we'd have to take Lolo sometime in the summer and pick out another project.
Lolo got to stay at home with our neighbor, Julia, for a "playdate". Julia and Lolo built a radio this afternoon using the snap circuits set. Whoa. They were listening to a mexican station when we arrived back home. Tickled that they could pick up spanish and french stations on the radio. It appears that the engineering gene must run strong in this family....despite the fact that it basically skipped Jim and myself.

Catching up...
So the posts below pretty much bring you up to date. We enjoyed a nice weekend at home....mostly outside. The fountain is up and running. Lots more yard work to do....in anticipation of summer. I'm getting excited. We're on our regular school schedule again. Norah spent the day at home with me...running errands, clearing out the laundry room. We're headed out to pick up Lolo in a bit. Grilling turkey burgers tonight. I'm so glad it's spring!
