Lolo had a tough day at today's swim class. She was being pushed around by a 4 year old girl named Sophie. Sophie was just plain mean to our girl....pushing her, not wanting to sit next to her on the step....I couldn't believe she was picking on our Lolo. AND Sophie's mom was just sitting right there! That burned my butt. If Lolo had been doing that I would have pulled her out of the pool for a time out and talk.
Poor Lolo got her feelings hurt and didn't want to swim. She just said "I feel bad." We're going to have talks about this for a while. I'm just amazed that (a) our 2 1/2 year old got bullied and (b) the 4 year old's mom ...who was sitting right there watching....didn't do anything about it. Ick.
