A moment to brag

Lolo made a great pesto to go over our noodles tonight. She is quite the cook and seems to be developing a very nice palate. She, Norah, and I would taste it and then we would decide if it needed anything. She'd say, "I think it needs more pine nuts." And we'd throw a few more in. The resulting recipe had less basil, about 2 (maybe 3) times the cheese, and twice the pine nuts. Both girls are crazy about pine nuts. It's not your standard pesto but it sure tasted good. Lolo and Norah both ate a couple of pesto sauce straight up from the spoon.
