Lolo and I had a very special afternoon together yesterday. We went to see "The Lion King" musical that was playing in town. It was so special to see her enormous eyes as the actors came down the aisles in their eleborate costumes. I though the show was outstanding. I can only imagine what was going through Lolo's mind. It was such a joy to see the wonder in her eyes and the excitement on her face. I probably had a better time than she did.
Lolo did a great job of sitting through the show. However, it was a bit much for our girl. All the stimulation wore her out. I think we'll wait another year or so before scheduling more big production shows for us to see together.
On a related note...this morning, Lolo was putting on a show. Yesterday she learned that when a show starts, the lights go out. It's amazing to see what kids will pick up. Jim's waiting to see when Lolo figures out she needs a spotlight.
