Taking advantage of a nice day

I checked the weather report and noticed that we're supposed to get about 6 inches of snow tomorrow. How crazy is that?!
Anyway, since today was so nice and since the sidewalks are clear (but for the huge puddles), I took the girls out for a very short bike ride. We got to the end of the block and saw Eileen and Julia. The girls stayed and played for a bit and then we headed back home for lunch and a nice nap for Norah.
After Norah woke up we walked to dinner with Eileen & Julia's family. Unfortunately, on the way back, Lolo stumbled and skinned her knee and her chin. There's probably going to be a scab in upcoming pictures. In any event, she cried pretty much all the way back, into the house, all through our goodnight call with Jim, and through getting ready for bed and brushing her teeth. The stories seemed to get her mind off of it and by the time I tucked her in, I'd say she forgot all about it.
