Update on our June 2010 China Tour

Thanks for patiently waiting for the updates (as if you had a choice). Today is really the first day we're kind of on track. The girls are napping and I'm only semi-jetlagged. I'm hoping tomorrow will be the day we're all back on schedule (of course, I've been hoping that all week).

So here's our first day in Beijing. A tour of Tienamen Square and the Forbidden City. The classic picture of Mao behind....and hmmm....what does that shirt say? Obamao? Yep. Even the Chinese find similarities. Nuff said. Political rants on another blog.

So, we walked and walked and walked in the heat. The girls got "ice pops"....you'll notice a theme during this trip. Quiz later.
