Gearing up for Jim's birthday

Lolo is wound up about Jim's birthday. She's really excited. There's a book we've been reading called "Spot Bakes a Cake" where Spot bakes a cake for his dad's birthday. Lolo decided Jim needs a carrot cake. So that's what we're going to do. She's also decided he needs numbers on his cake, balloons for his birthday, and a birthday hat. We picked out numbers and candles for his cake today and some misc decorations. Jim's in for a treat.....I can safely say that this is going to be the first pink and purple birthday cake he has ever had! (That's what happens when you have little girls with strong opinions). I'll try to post pictures on friday when we bake and decorate his cake.
