Clearly, I had technical difficulties in Bonaire. After spending way too much time trying to figure things out (which I never did), I gave up and went schwimming with our girls. And now....I have misplaced my card reader. So, pictures will have to wait just a bit until I get organized and find lost items.
Bonaire was great (as if time on an island could be anything but great). Jim and I managed to get in quite a bit of diving. The girls managed to schwim every day. Lolo and Norah both made giant strides in their swimming abilities this trip. Lolo would swim without her life vest quite comfortably. And Norah would just keep walking off the edge or step off into the pool until she was under water (trusting that someone would eventually fish her out).
A very cool experience for Lolo....Jim took her snorkeling one evening. (We did a night dive the evening before...we were there during the coral spawning). Lolo got to see "fairy sparkles" aka bioluminescent plankton . She was pretty thrilled that she could make sparkles at night by herself....frankly, I was pretty thrilled to see it too :-)
